For what its worth I think Bear is right about this. We considered doing 
both, and I may still end up travelling to both tournaments, but the 
majority of our teams (and coaches) simply cannot afford to miss almost two 
weeks of school doing back to back nationals. While I think it is good 
that they are not on the same weekend. Optimally they would be spaced two 
weeks apart to make the schedule a bit more humane.
