Time Limits at Nats

My advocacy would is 9-3-6 rather than 8-3-6. With 8-3-6 the 1AR gets
an extra minute but the 2AC doesn't. This means the block has 14
minutes to answer 8 minutes of 2Ac and the 1AR has 6 minutes to answer
the block. Even though the 1AR gets the minute back it comes too late.
With 9-3-6 the block has 15 minutes to answer 9 minutes of 2AC - the
extra 2AC minute means a better spread of answers for the 1AR to extend
from, and while the block has the same extra minute in the 2NC as the
2AC that extra minute 'means more' to the 1AR (who wont be going for
EVERY argument anyway, while the negative block will be covering the
entirety of the 9 minute 2ac answers in one way or another).

And, like Steve, I'd like to see what kind of flexibility nationals has
with the time limits.
