Mercer has indicated they will not be at the regional tournament (thanks
shwan whalen)
Mercer also runs a lead shot case I believe. Hunters Use lead shot, birds
eat the shot and that is bad.

Uranium Mining-Mining on Native AMerican lands hoses the environment and
prevents us from getting the ethic, which will kill us all eventually.

Tuna-catching extraneous crap. Have not ratified lajolla agreement, now
must ratify or latin american countries pull out. key to saving the
dolphins. Harm, catch too much, dump dead carcasses=organic waste, kills
tons of dolphins. claim starvaation impact. lajollaa solves, = model for
fish conservation.

Also a tobacco case, but I don't know the specifics.

Miami-A smoking case, but that was long ago. Geoff and Larry are going to
be at Heart of America, so the Multi-media wholisitc approach to the
environment is less of a concern I suppose.

Emory-lloks like they are going to be at KU in force (like 8 teams)
I don't know they will be at regionals.
However, they have been running Eco-racism and just say no to tritium.

South Carolina-Municipal waste incinerators. Soc/nano CP on the neg.

Florida-Mining just say no cyanide, municipal waste incinerators, indoor
air pollution.

Clemson-Naphtha, green cars.

Vanderbilt-Superfund, Mining (cyanide), wet cleaning (dry cleaning is
evil), soft money.

Tenn tech-Integral feed reactors (coal is bad--links to every disad--they
claim warming, so2 etc)

Samford-PM 2.5

Duke-Hog waste

Capital (should they come) HAARP, Whistle blowers

MTSU-TBT, which is used in paint on ships. it kills dolphins and hoses
other aquatic life. there are alternatives, which the navy and others
use. Almost all countries but the US have banned it.

INherent safety-prevention case. chem accidents are bad. we need to
prevent them before they happen.

PM 2.5 small particulates are evil. they kill. we need cleaner air.

Alabama-Chem weapons disposal, tampons (very old--angie and damien claim
they won't run this anymore), and tradeable permits (JV-i don't know what
the JVers have been running lately)
they also have a space pollution case

Harding-GATT/Green Trade
pesticides (use aquaheat (hot water) to kill weeds)... um, that must be
herbicide? I've gotten some confusing responses here. weeds are killed
by herbicides, bugs with pesticides.
and disease control (immigrants and databases in particular)

McNeese should we see them-smoking, inddor air, solar (no nukes), and
anti-freeze

SeLa-depleted uranium and dedevelopment (crush our economy and move us
back to pre-industrial revolution emissions)
novices also run no nukes.

That's all I know for now.

Mike
