Southern Journal of Forensics

Want to add your name to a growing list of forensics professionals, add to your
students' understanding of complex debate theory, and increase your
professional library in one shot?

Subscribe to the Journal !!!

The Winter 1997 (Vol. 1, No 4) issue of the Journal is in press; thus, our
first year of publication has reached its conclusion. If you subscribed, you
received four issues of broad interest to the forensics community. Some of the
highlights that we published were from the purely theoretical perspective
(Kritiks, David Berube; Transient Decision Making Paradigms, Crawford; Feminist
Argument, Crenshaw) to tournament administration (CEDA invitations, Simerly &
Frappier; Ethics in Tournament Administration, Snider; Campus Speech
Tournaments, Cates & Eaves) through practical applications (Debate as a
Corporate Decision-Making Tool, Spangle & Knapp). Forums were offered and
advanced through discussions on Parliamentary Debate (Williams, Worth, Johnson,
Cirlin, Trapp, and Rogers), Topical Counterplans (McGee, Berube, Broda-Bahm,
Hobbs & Watkins, West and Crenshaw), Lexis-Nexis Debate (Elliott, Collier,
Adams, Voight, Grassmick, Gehrke, and Rogers) and Program Perspectives and
Choices (West, Preston, Alexander, Simerly & McGee, Biles and Backus).
Obviously, the Journal is full of interesting scholarship, useful information
necessary to construct briefs and Kritiks on theoretical issues, and
opportunities to interact with the forensics community in unique forums that
address the critical issues of the day.

Volume 2 (Spring 1997) will go to press soon. Won't you take the time to
consider entering your subscription for the next four issues?
