St. A's decision makes perfect sense to me.  W&M went through the same
process both with respect to NDT & CEDA.  David's four elements of debating
that should be kept in balance are exactly the rationale for our "flight"
from CEDA.  I recall David making this case a couple of years ago in an
Eastern Regional Newsletter.  A year before that, I think, we attended our
last Marist tournament, took 5 or 6 teams, participated in beaucoup elim
rounds, in several divisions and watched Jack Lynch receive an award.  I
wonder where all those teams went?  Hmmm . . . must have retreated to NEDA,
PARLY & LD with all the "lazy coaches."
