2.  Your argument is a straw person argument at best.  deal with the idea 
of no longer season.

3.  Why go to a longer season.  If you propose change you need to give 
reasons for that change.  To date I have not heard any reason to stretch 
our season even longer.

4.  What about the argument I gave saying we already have the longest 
season in college competition and making it longer just makes it that 
much harder to be a student, teacher, person with a life.

5.  This activity is shrinking in in both number of squads and debaters 
on the remaining squads.  I don't think increasing the load necessary to 
compete is the way to win back people!

I did not take your post as a flame, and I hope you don't take the above 
as a flame.  I'm interested to hear responses from every one on this topic!
