Hired judges at CEDA Nationals

CEDA Nationals allows strikes of up to l0% of the judges at the 
tournament. In addition this year we will allow free strikes of all 
judges who have not judged  l2 rounds on the Mexico topic.  Teams may 
chose to use all their strikes or not. This is a school coach team decision.

Anyway, we need to make sure we have enough judging at nationals. We pay 
$l5 a round. We hope people will be willing to judge extra rounds for $l5 
a round. For example, if someone only owes us 4 rds but is willing to 
judge 6 we would pay $30 or 8 $60. Schools should also consider bringing 
excellent competent extra judges. We would hire them at $l5 a rd and they 
could probably earn $l00-l50 dollars. Of course judges will also get the 
special experience of The National CEDA Tournament and the gracious 
hosting of Cal St Long Beach. California in late March early April is 
beautiful and warm usually and after the Winter most of us have had , I 
would think it would sound great.
