December Exec-Sec Rpt 1/4

Paid/Non-Paid Members
I've included a list of paid members for the 1996-97 year as of December 7.
I've also listed those schools that paid membership dues last year but have
not paid this year. Only paid members can receive sweepstakes awards and
compete at the national tournament. Please pay your dues if you haven't
done so. I've included a dues form.

T-shirts and mugs
CEDA's "Speaking a new world!" t-shirts, rugbys, and mugs order form is
enclosed in the hard copy version. Email readers can access the order form
at HTTP://weave.forensics.cornell.edu/ Procedes go to pay travel costs for
the student representative to the topic committee.

NDT Committee
I've included members of the NDT Committee FYI.

CEDA Sweepstakes Rankings as of December 7
I've included: 1. CEDA sweepstakes rankings (email version includes
totals-only listing, then unformatted tournament-by-tournament listing; I
will send hard copy of tournament-by-tournament listings to all members), 2.
Regional Sweepstakes, 3. Community College Sweepstakes.

Combined minutes of the Fall Executive Council meeting and the business meetings
I've combined the minutes from the meetings in San Diego and included a copy.

Call for papers for the 1997 Speech Communication Association convention
Carrie Crenshaw requests papers, abstracts, and panels for SCA. See the
call for papers for details and deadline.

Revised CEDA Constitution
I will send a copy of the revised Constitution in January after I receive
the mail ballots approved at the Fall business meeting. It is very likely
that the January Report will consist only of the Constitution.

CEDA Executive-Secretary
