I will soon be mailing out the invitations to our tournament.  To save
postage, I will not be sending them to everyone, though everyone is
welcome.  If you have been to Arkansas Tech in the last four years, you
should receive one.  Our tournament will be at the Tech campus in
Russellville, Arkansas, on Interstate 40, 75 miles west of Little Rock
and 81 miles east of Oklahoma (mile marker 81 on the interstate).  The
dates are Friday and Saturday, January 24 and 25, 1997.  There will be
Open, Novice, and Lincoln Douglas divisions of CEDA debate, Parli
debate, and all eleven IE events.  Our first round of IE's will begin
at2:00 p.m. on the 24th, and the first round of debate will begin at
3:30.There are several motels within three blocks of the campus, and
their rates run from about $36 to $46 plus tax.  These motels include
the Motel 6 and Holiday Inn, more details in the invitation.  My name is
