I feel sorry for the rest of the UMKC squad
After having read Ms. Repko's response, I simply had to go back and check
out the original posting.
If you (Pointed & Slusher) want to win debates you have probably done more
to hurt your performance than you will ever know. I will try my best to
judge you guys fairly, but every time I look up from my flow at you I am
going to think of this message. I try my best to be objective, but there is
no way that you haven't lost a lot of my respect. I bet a lot of other
judges may not be as able to overcome this as I am. When you do poorly at a
tournament there may now be a bunch of people smiling and chuckling. It's
hard not to do that to someone who insults you like that.
But keep on marking your postings with asterisks because in the absence of
a very eloquent and sincere apology from you two to the many people you
have insulted for no apparent reason, my life will be a happier one if I
ignore you.
So many people have done so much and worked so hard to make the UMKC
program what it is, I feel sorry for what you have done to your squad's
reputation. You guys have your school name on the ballot with your names.
The identification is inevitable and unavoidable. Yeah, you have free
speech, but I really don't want to listen to you any more.
As an active ally of the UMKC debate program, I end.....
Sadly,
