Reading Evidence

Personally, I find my flow a lot cleaner and comprehensive when I flow tags
and listen to cards. I guess I feel I have a good enough short term memory
left that I can usually recall the cards read for about an hour or so (or at
least remember if they were particularly good or bad). I will flow those
cards that have a "list" in them sometimes ("we should ban bailouts for three
reasons," etc.).

So, I listen to the cards. If I am forced to resolve a claim between two or
more disputed pieces of evidence, I will first look to the answers made by
debaters (where there indicts? comparisons?). Then, if necessary, I will
make the call myself. Sometimes (especially involving situations where cards
are read and re-read in c-x) I can do it based on what I heard. Other times,
I have to call for the cards and read them.

I consider myself a pretty good flow, and don't really know if I could keep up
with the rounds I see if I attempted to flow every card. Those of you who can
must really rock--or get pretty slow rounds--or have a great trick.
