Re: Request to Topic Committee and Others

I agree with Mr. Church's concern about library access and topic selection.
 However, I think that could severely limit topics considering the poor
quality of some institutions' libraries.  For example, our squad didn't even
bother researching at our home library and researched at other libraries in 4
other states.  However, the problem is isn't unique to the Oceans topic.  Our
squad has look to other insitutions (sometimes as far as 7 hours away) on the
past 5 or 6 topics.  We realized that beyond initial research (Time,
Newsweek, the New Republic, and the like), we would get nothing at our home
library.

And, as always, I feel that general discussion of topic ideas on  the L is
great!
