Ok, most of the messages without a subject line were the fault
of the Cornell computer -- Sorry to blame folk for that.

However, I still won't read a message with a subject line
such as "re: Madsen" or "reply to Madsen" -- that is not
informative, I don't have the time to try to figure out what 
messages are supposed to be about.  Label it as critiques,
or mutual preference, or whatever the message relates to --
it isn't that difficult.
