Re: Spring topics
The nukes topic is tiny if y'all is lots to cover. Vote for the Budget it
at some levels subsumes all the topics. Your budget reduction could be stop
funding nukes their by achieving a reduction, (I know I know, weapons are
expensive to breakdown but I think in the long run we would save money).
The intervention topic: if cut the buget we will have less capicity to
intervene, 1nc choose your intervention. The drug topic same logic as above
NATO- save lots of cash by pulling out, right?
IMPACTS you want them the buget topic gets them, all of them tradeoff
impacts (Ie the enviornment should have money spent on it or perhaps not)
scenario impacts, (maybe we could spend the money we save cutting the
buget on aid to Russia or perhaps not) as Max would say "pantloads"
of impacts.
PLANS This topic seems to be clearly plan orientated, thus providing a sounder
framework for plan/CP debate, and again "pantloads" of counter-plans exists.
PLUS their lots o wank economic stuff that some funky Procedual postions
could made out of.
And as an added BONUS for all you Hasty-G theorists the word significant is
right in the resoluation.
