Jack Kerouac's biographer Gerry Nicosia e-mailed me yesterday.  Seems 
that since word is out i'm involved in debate he thought that meant 
lawyers.  anyway he is currently in court in Albuquerque.  

eventually the case will be about control of Jack Kerouac's "stuff" 
which is currently in Lowell Massasch. as i understand things.  He asked 
if i knew any lawyers practicing in the Mass area.  i told him that i 
didn't think so but would see if anyone could help me out.

it sounds as though Gerry N.'s case would be pro bono work.  to be 
honest i haven't been able to keep track of all the details in my little 
brain.  if there are some ex-debaters in the Mass area that do pro bono 
work that y'all think i should recommend feel free to backchannel me and 
i'll forward them to Gerry Nicosia.  i hope i spelled his name right.  
anyway ... thanks for any assistant.
