Re: SPACE PAPER AGAIN -Reply
** High Priority **
I would like to echo what Sue has written concerning the space topic. I
was coaching at Northeastern State the year NDT debated space. The
debaters and I felt the topic was superior (in fact, as I recall the space
topic was selected as the best NDT topic of the 1980's decade). In the
laste 1980s or early 1990s, the topic was again debated by high schools
and again with much acclaim. I do hope the community will give serious
consideration to the topic area.

Hello,
I wanted to offer a brief testimonial for the space topic. I had
forgotten that it was a potential topic area and I would hate to see it
get lost in the shuffle. My junior year in college I was lucky enough to
debate this topic. Of all the topics that I debated in high school,
college or have coached on, this was the best. The space topic allows
for so many different directions for each debate. It provides links to
foreign policy disads, military positions and domesitic positions. The
cases were interesting to research and debate. There was plenty of
ground for affirmatives and negatives. This topic seemed to be a
concensus favorite for people who debated in the 80s. I hope that all of
you will give it some consideration (and discussion on the L). Sue
