there's a great deal of theory discussion on CEDA-L.

2.  "Thinking acts insofar as it thinks" (Heidegger).  Theory is praxis,
praxis
is theory.  The dichotomization of the two is artificial and would be,
to me,
undesirable.

3.  I really agree that there have been lots of insults lately.  Insults
should be done privately, folks (like I TRIED to do until mine were
posted publicly so's I could wear my scarlett letter).  I apologize
for anything I've done to perpetuate such discourse.  Let's move
on with real discussion.

4.  The topic discussions ARE, in a sense, theory discussions.
