TOC Housing Alert

ATTENTION DEBATERS, COACHES, JUDGES, GUEST JUDGES, ALUMNI, AND ANY AND ALL
THOSE PLANNING TO ATTEND THE TOC.

I have just been informed by the Continental Inn that they are releasing
our block of rooms at 5 p.m. this Friday, April 11.  IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO
ATTEND THE TOC AND DO NOT HAVE A ROOM YOU SHOULD CALL THE CONTINENTAL INN
IMMEDIATELY.

                        ASK FOR THE SALES DEPARTMENT
                        THE TOC RATE IS: $48 PLUS TAX FOR 1-4 PEOPLE.

HOUSING SITUATION IS DESPERATE IN LEXINGTON DURING THE TOC WEEKEND.  The
weekend of the TOC is also the weekend of the International Rolex horse
show as well as the final weekend of Keeneland races.  To my knowledge,
every hotel room in town is taken except for the few remaining in our block
at the Continental Inn.  I am told that even the motels in Georgetown, Ky.
are filled.  PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND THE TOC
AND CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE A ROOM.
