RE: skarb, Prieto

i honestly do not think there are many people who make random decisions.
i may be wrong. there are some judges decisions about which i wonder,
but i believe they are trying.

which is my main point-all we can ask is that judges make an honest
effort. i am hesitant to follow up on yuri's examples (i didnt see the
debate-dont know who judged) but i wonder whos fault it is if a critic
did not know the impact of the disad. i cant recall the number of times
i have told a 2nr they needed to give more rhetorical force to the impact
of the arguments they want me to weigh.

one other point-i wonder if focusing on good/bad is a productive
discussion? one thing i noticed about nats was the number of "first year
critics" judging past 2x octos. it is hard judging at nats. perhaps the
question is experience.

MPJ is a start.
