Re: Berube Flame Baiting and limiting CEDA Nationals

Don't stop me from entering my younger debaters as a way to introduce them to
the reality of the national circuit. I and they need this. This year we took
two sophomores and they had a combined record of 10-6. They are poised now
for national competition.

Too large? Not the problem. Too expensive to host? Yes. That has to change.
However, I do know of two schools in the East that are actively interested in
hosting the event.

David Berube's post sounds judicious, not flame baiting. Listen pal, if you
want to be flame bait you need to be wilder than this! (said in jest) I know
you are capable of it, but I do not want to encourage you. Others provide
enough heat without light on many issues already. Keep with the light and
save the heat.

By the way, David, your tournament and your RR are excellent events and I
encourage all who can to attend. BIG silver trophies!
