I say:

I am very sad to see you, as a debater I have enjoyed and respected, act this
way towards your opponents.  

It is easy to be a good winner. It takes character to be a good loser.

The whole idea of DEBATE is to understand and deal with difference of
opinion. I was very sad when I heard that you and Brad had lost at nationals,
and I tried to communicate that to John. I am still sad that Brad lost. But,
in your case, based on this comment, I may have to revise my conclusion.
