Conspiracies

Such attitudes are evidenced by the now quite common dismissal of
virtual on-line unanimity regarding the issues of collaboration and
potential merger. I am hearing statements from hierarchy members on
both side of the fence warning us about the unrepresentation of online
democracy. I am hearing it in the accusations being flung back and
forth over topic selection procedures. I am hearing it in the
accusations that the other side should be the first to move their
national dates.

Though I know I am inviting similar charges, I find the tone of both
hierarchies to be incredibly childish. Though I hoped and expected
more, I am not surprised by their ability to draw conclusions from
intuitions as opposed to ACTUAL voices in the community, whether they
be in person or in cyber-reality.Michael "Bear" Bryant Internet: mbryant@central.weber.edu
