NDT Committee, 1995-1996

However, I would appreciate feedback from any member of the
debate community about issues they feel the Committee should
consider next year.  I know that there will be discussion about
the possibility of an "open" NDT of some sort, as well as
discussion about the possible repeal of the "no disclosure" rule.
I also anticipate discussion related to judge placement and pairing
procedures.

Please send me any ideas you have about issues the Committee should
consider next year.  As of now I anticipate four meetings of
the Committee:
  1) Informal meeting at the UNI tournament to discuss issues that
     will be on the agenda at later meetings.
  2) Meeting on Friday afternoon at the SCA Convention.
  3) Meeting in February -- is that at Michigan this year?
  4) Meeting the day before the tournament starts at next year's
     NDT at Wake Forest.

As Bob Gass indicated earlier on the Open NDT and Disclosure issues,
you should also let your relevant representatives to the Committee
know the feeling of you district/region on issues to be considered.
For your information, the Committee for next year will be:

District I -- Bob Gass
District III -- Nick Backus
District IV -- Election to occur in the near future
District V -- Ed Hinck
District VI -- Ross Smith
District VII -- Brett O'Donnell (also Committee Secretary)
District VIII -- Ken Strange
District IX -- Barb Pickering
AFA Eastern -- John Katsulas
AFA Southern -- Ed Panetta
AFA Midwest -- Arnie Madsen (also Committee Chair)
AFA Western -- Tom Jewell
NDT Director -- Donn Parson

David Hingstman has tentatively agreed to accept the position as
NDT Parliamentarian.

The Board of Trustees for next year will be:
Lee Polk (Board Chair)
Lucy Keele
John Gossett
Tim Hynes
Bill Balthrop
