Mr. Holland. While I am not a College Debater I recently won the 1995
Kansas 6a State Championship with the help of 5 other fine debaters (in 4
person State). I would wager that quoting theory evidence in a round is
almost detrimental to your debaters, and certainly not helpful. I don't
think any experienced judge would accept theory evidence as fact (unless
from god or the NFL president). Most critics either 1. Laugh and point at
the monkey or 2. feel that your debater is insulting their intelligence or
3. that the debater can not think for themselves. Please take my advice,
do not read theory evidence.
I realize that this critique of your request for help is no
substitute for the help itself, so:
ON Aol
go to Internet conection
to Gopher and wais
to Education
to Debate Central
to theory ev/whatever else appeals to you
but remember learning the theory evidence substitutes for quoting theory
evidence quite nicely.
Good luck at State
