My perception is that members are currently being solicited covertly (i.e.,
there was until the NDA meeting last weekend no "public call" for
membership).  A prospective member must be sponsored by an existing member
and voted in.  According to Horn, schools that support other forms of debate
are not welcome.  I agree as to regulating abuses or as to resource division.
 To the extent NEDA does not clearly address larger issues in CEDA, they will
not solve but become part of the problem.  -TLM
