Piazza Posting Policies for Joanne's courses: Make your posts *public* as much as possible (you can be anonymous) so that other students will benefit from the information as well. Try to ask questions generally and do not include significant homework solution code when posting publicly (doing so is an ethics violation). Be as *clear* as possible in your postings, particularly when asking about errors/problems in your code. Explain exactly what seems to be the problem, including compiler output or runtime errors if relevant. If posting questions about assignments that require you to include parts of your solution, you must make those posts *private* for all instructors, so that other students don't see your code (an ethics violation). Please do a *search* to see if your question has already been answered before posting. We will not answer duplicate questions. We will have a designated post with *clarifications* for each homework assignment to provide a summary of relevant points to make things easier on everyone. Please *answer* each other's posts as much as possible! We will review and correct if necessary for accuracy, but you all will be on-line more than the course staff, particularly during evening hours and weekends. Leave follow-up questions *unresolved* if they have not been answered well enough. Do not post new unrelated questions as follow-ups - start a new post instead. If you have questions about *grading* of your assignments, please post *privately* for *all* the instructors and be sure to include the "grading" tag along with the relevant assignment tag. Also be sure to include your blackboard ID so we know whose assignment to check.
