600.250 -- Assignment 10 -- Group

This assignment contains your final group project instructions and components. Each element should be submitted separately on Blackboard.

Part A: Presentation -- Due 5/1, 3pm -- 15 points

All groups must present their projects to the class. (Also submit your presentation materials on Blackboard, but not project code.) Each group will have 20 minutes for their presentation including transitions (hooking up to the projector, etc.) and questions/feedback. Pretend that you are pitching your app to a review board which will select only 1 group project to sponsor financially. Demonstrate the full functionality of your app. Include technical points of instruction on android features that we did not cover in class. Describe any future development or publishing plans.

Make your presentation as seamless as possible. Create a good flow from overview points to actual demonstrations. Make visuals easy to see. Speak clearly and address the entire room. Be a little entertaining if possible. Remember, you are trying to sell us on your app. I recommend using the DroidScreen utility for actual phone demos, not just the Eclipse emulator. Let Joanne know if you would like to use her laptop. (Note, this might adversely affect any power point presentations created on a machine with different fonts.)

Grading Breakdown - you are being graded on the presentation itself, not the application: [5] app overview, [5] app demo, [5] delivery

Part B: Implementation -- Due 5/3, 3pm -- 75 points

Submit an archive of your project implementation code on Blackboard.

Grading Breakdown:

Part C: Team Member Evaluation -- Due Friday 5/4, 5pm -- 10 points

Please provide a thoughtful and honest evaluation of yourself and your team members with respect to all aspects of your group app development. Submit the completed evaluation on Blackboard.

Spreadsheet version - preferred!

A pdf version is also available for you to print, complete and submit, but only if you absolutely can't edit the spreadsheet.

Part D: Final Implementation -- Due 5/16, 2pm -- 75 points

Submit an archive of your final project code on Blackboard, if you want to improve your 10b project grade.
