Jatin Chhugani

 I am currently leading the technology and development at PhiSix Fashion Labs, a Bay Area technology company helping apparel e-tailers increase sales and reduce returns through the application of innovative 3D modeling and physical simulation technologies. Our technology helps customers find the perfect Look and Fit when apparel shopping on the web or on their mobile devices.

Previously, I worked as a Senior Research Scientist in Intel's Parallel Computing Lab, part of Intel Research Labs in Santa Clara, CA for 7+ years. My research involved devising and implementing efficient parallel algorithms for a wide range of performance-hungry applications on current and upcoming computing platforms. Received the ACM SIGMOD best paper award (2010), Intel Achievement award (Intel’s highest honor) (2011), and was a finalist for the Gordon Bell award in high-performance computing (2012). I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD in 2004. My advisor was Dr. Subodh Kumar. My Resume is available online.
