back transliterates from transliterated akkadian text in ASCII to the signs found in the back of YOS10. the grammar is a subset of the grammer defined by the Penn/Leiden sumerian project. basically, signs are separated by hyphens, and words are separated by spaces. lines are separated as one would expect. so far, that is all she does - no numbers, no ligatures... the only valid values are those listed in the back of YOS10, in the phonetic value list, not the logagraphic list. also, keep in mind that the emphatics are not explicitly mentioned in the back of YOS10, and so they are not yet recognized. mapping the emphatics will be a task for the (hopefully near) future. also planned for the future are numbers and ligatures.

the image returned is generated dynamically. consequently, you may
not be able to "save image as..." if that turns out to be the case,
just save the page with the image as a jpeg, then try looking
