This homework comes in (very similar) two parts: you will create rules for a noun phrase chunking experiment, in order to see the differences between man and machine.

There is no requirement to turn in anything but the rules, which in fact will be turned in automaticaly if you follow the guidelines.

You will be graded based on your evaluation test data results. Be careful not to overtrain.
