About Me

I am a post doctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University.
I work in the DS^2 lab headed by Prof. Cristina Nita-Rotaru and affiliated with CERIAS.

I was a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University, in the SPAR lab, under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Ateniese.
My interests include Information Security and Web Technologies.
Here's my CV

Research Interests

- Applied Cryptography - Privacy in Computing
- Security of Wireless Networks - Network Security

Some topics I have worked on, reflecting my research interests: security of wireless networks, searchable encryption, security of storage systems, security of DNS (SK-DNSSEC).
Other areas of interest in cryptography: broadcast encryption, privacy preserving data-mining.
Other areas I'm (more remotely) interested in: Security of Web Services, Human-Computer Interfaces.
