Who am I?

I'm in my 3rd year as a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department at The Johns Hopkins University. I'm working under Dr. Russell Taylor, in the Computer Integrated Surgery Lab. Actually, though, I'm currently on a one semester Leave of Absence arranged by Dr. Taylor, and am working in the TIMC-GMCAO at IMAG in Grenoble under Dr. Jocelyne Troccaz, still in computer integrated surgery.

In August I married the woman formally known as Julie Swindell, now  Julie Bzostek.-- come see our "Julie & Andy" and wedding pages (still under construction)

I'm also recently attended The First Joint Conference of CVRMed II and MRCAS III in Grenoble, where I presented a paper, "An Automated System for Precise Access of the Renal Collecting System".

I graduated from Rice University in 1995, with a degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Sciences. During my stay at Rice, I was a proud member of Jones College and a two time inhabitant of Third South. I also played in the MOB.

I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, where I graduated from HSEP (which now has an entry on alumni.net).
