Current Research

My current research involves attempts to perform dimensionality reduction on very high dimensionality data to facilitate the application of machine learning techniques to that data. In particular, I am interested in the ability to generalize and abstract from data, even in the presense of data which is extremely sparse with relation to the original data dimensionality.

More information will be posted here once I have some initial publications on the algorithm that has been developed to address these problems.

Older Research

ERC CISST

I did work on the Steady-Hand Manipulator, in particular working on the retinal vein cannulation task. Up to date information on the ongoing project can be found on the ERC website.
