Susan Hohenberger, a research professor in the Department of Computer Science, is a member of the Johns Hopkins University Information Security Institute. She focuses on cryptography and computer security.

She is the recipient of an NSF CAREER Award, a Google Faculty Research Award, and a Microsoft Research Faculty Fellowship. She is a co-founder of Zeutro, LLC.

Hohenberger received BS from Ohio State University and a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in Computer Science. Prior to joining Hopkins, she was a postdoc at IBM Research in Zurich, Switzerland.
