Research Interests: My general areas of interest are Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. Specifically, my research so far has focused on the problems of:

Multilingual Information Extraction (of semantic taxonomies, class attributes, biographical facts and disambiguated person-name referents)
Machine Translation (inducing translation lexicons with minimal supervision exploiting cross-language similarities between languages)
Text Summarization (of unstructured interviews given by people with the goal of learning interview-specific summarization behavior over time)

My research advisor is Dr. David Yarowsky.
